Presentation
The Work Group “Statistics for Integrative Biology” was created in 2010. It has grown up initially around statisticians and biologists from Agrocampus Ouest, INRA, Rennes 2 university and EHESP interested in issues of data processing and analysis from high-throughput quantitative biology.
Objectives
The aim is to pool the expertise of researchers in statistics and biology for the study of data generated by quantitative high-throughput biology. highlighting the research activity in Rennes in this field. More particularly, the aim is to provide expertise and guidance for the use and development of methods for statistical analysis and dedicated software.
Expertise
The team of the working group is composed of researchers, assistant professors and Ph.D. students from Agrocampus Ouest, INRA, Rennes 2 university and EHESP.
- multivariate analysis for large-scale data
- Inference in high-dimensional data
- Graphical Models
- Inference in gene networks
Missions
- Organisation of a monthly seminar in Rennes
- Build collaborations to develop a scientific production
- Provide expertise (consulting, ..)
- Training courses
- Organisation of a conference / workshop
